This disc, sent to over 20,000 members of the press worldwide, tells the story of the Mormon Pioneer exodus from Illinois and their historic 1,300 mile trek to Salt Lake City in a quest for religious freedom. The CD-ROM describes the pioneers' faith and sacrifice through video and audio clips, journal entries, interactive maps, and photographs. The disc is a hybrid, working equally well on both Macintosh and Windows operating systems, and includes useful media resources such as high-resolution photographs and a global media guide. cd roms
