NEW YORK, NY, September 24, 1998 — Tumble Interactive Media announced today that it has been awarded a 1998 Bronze Anvil Award by the Public Relations Society of America for its production of a CD-ROM press kit for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"Faith in Every Footstep: 150 Years of Mormon Pioneers," celebrates the 150th anniversary of the historic 1,300-mile trek from Illinois to Salt Lake City by Mormon pioneers in their quest for religious freedom. The CD-ROM contains video and audio clips, journal entries, interactive maps, and photographs documenting this monumental journey, the largest mass migration in United States history.

The CD was distributed to the press worldwide and remains in production over a year after its initial release. "Faith in Every Footstep" has won numerous awards and has been made available as a commercial product by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The CD-ROM, a category winner in the New Media category, was among 32 winners selected from a record 675 entries, up from the 594 entries received last year. A subcommittee of the PRSA's Honors and Awards Committee judged the entries and selected the winners based on content, creativity, quality of production, technical excellence and appropriateness for the declared audience.

With over 18,000 members, New York City-based PRSA is the nation's largest association for public relations professionals.
