Tumble Interactive Remodels CyberShop-Sales Increase 350%

NEW YORK, NY, December 15, 1997—Tumble Interactive Media announced today that it has completed a total redesign of CyberShop's World Wide Web site (http://www.cybershop.com ) The redesign features shopping host Cy and new divisions with unique upscale products from more than 400 manufacturers. Other features include a "Gifts Wrapped & Ready" service that allows customers to have gifts professionally wrapped, personalized with a greeting card and shipped anywhere in the US within 24 hours for no additional charge.

Since the new site came online in October, CyberShop has experienced a 350% increase in revenues over the same period last year, according to Jeff Tauber, CyberShop CEO. "We are finding that more people are using the Internet to make purchases because of convenience and the personal shopping experience. In CyberShop, a customer can research products and prices, shop any hour of the day or night and save a considerable amount of time without having to shuffle through mall traffic and crowds," says Tauber.

Tumble also tried to inject a human element into the site by adding a character called 'Cy' to the Web site. "Cy is a combination concierge and personal shopper who adds a unique dimension to the CyberShop shopping experience," comments Cal Vornberger, President of Tumble. "We believe that online merchants should reinforce the notion that there are real people running their sites. We also see Cy as an expert who can answer customers questions and provide useful information about Cybershop's products and services."

Tumble introduced new services and special programs that provide shoppers with added value, including such items as personalized gift certificates, which can be purchased and sent via the Internet; CyberShopper Rewards, a generous frequent shopper awards program; Corporate Gift Services, the ultimate source for corporate shopping needs; and CyberShops customized shopping bag, which allows shoppers to put aside items of interest for a later purchase. CyberShop can be found on the World Wide Web at http://www.cybershop.com and on America Online in their Shopping channel or by using keyword cybershop.
